Born at 26 weeks

My friend simply had her baby at 26 weeks. Went into preterm labor at 24 and they were able to hold her off for ii more weeks. The baby is doing okay. But it's and then heavy on my heart. Has anyone had their baby at or around 26 weeks and how did things turn out for your picayune one? Thank you ladies.

My friend was pregnant with triplets. Went into labor at 22 weeks. All three boys were born and doing good and so 2 ended up passing abroad from sepsis. Simply that one little boy kept of fighting and at present he'south a playful little 18 month old.

I had my twins at 35 weeks, merely I can see the emotional rollercoaster your friend is living now.

It'due south really hard to go home and exit infant in the hospital.

A lot of the babies that were in the NICU when I had my twins were micro preemie every bit your friend's.... I accept their parents on Facebook and they are growing and thriving.

Ask your friend to bank check if the NICU has a Facebook page, that is awesome to connect with the parents. Simply ppl who have been in this situation truly empathise it.

I had my baby at 26 weeks in very like conditions. Started dilating at 24weeks and they held baby off for some other two weeks. My mums friend had her footling one at 23 weeks. She was in NICU for weeks but she is healthy toddler now with much attitude as the rest of the toddlers her age.
